It has been reported that to prevent inordinate delay in reimbursement of bills also the corruption in the system, the school teachers and non teaching staff will soon be benefited by cashless health scheme.
The members in the Legislative Council alleged that the beneficiaries are facing difficulties for clearing the bills and authorities are demanding bribe to do the work. In a reply to the call attention motion by Dattatray Sawant, in the Legislative Council on Friday, School Education Minister Balasaheb Thorat was given assurance and also informed about the scheme.
He stated that it will be similar to the one available for government employees. He said that for the implementation of cashless scheme, discussion with insurance companies will be conducted. And there are plans for the single window system. He further added that at present 27 health issues and five serious health problems have been covered.
As per information, Dr.Ranjit Patil, Shrikant Deshpande, Niranjan Davkhare, Balram Patil, Jogendra Kawade, Dr.Manisha Kayande and others also participated in discussion.
