CBTC is all set to launch the Metro’s passenger service at a speed of 5 km per hour on the Reach-2 (Sitabardi to Lokmanya Nagar) Aqua Line of Nagpur Metro.
The Metro has completed all the necessary work in terms of passenger service on this route. To inspect the new station, Metro Rail Safety Commissioner (CMRS) will visit Nagpur on December 23 to conduct a critical examination in terms of passenger service.
CMRS will be inspecting the track and OHE. This will mainly include Communication Based Signalling and Train Control System (CBTC) testing.
CMRS team will be headed by Metro Rail Safety Commissioner Shri. Janak Kumar Garg along with other officers.
