Akshay Wagh, Rajesh Muley, Devanand Meshram and Gayatri Andhare achieved premier positions in 160- km event during KRIMS Hospital Tiger Cyclothon organized by Pro-Health Foundation in the city on Sunday.
In 18 to 25 years category, Wagh from Surat clocked 4:27:58 to win the race. In 36 to 45 years section, Nagpur’s Rajesh Muley triumphed with a timing 4:30:57 hours. In the 46 to 55 category, Devanannd Meshram excelled.
He clocked 5:23::25 hours. Gayatri Andhare was the only woman who completed 160 km race in 6:19:17 hours. Earlier mayor Sandip Joshi, Dr. Ashok Arbat, Dr. Sameer Arbat, Director KRIMS Hospitals Dr Subhash Rewatkar, Nitin Kakodkar PCCF, Ram Babu PCCF, Vivek Handa Circle Head HDFC, Major General  Kundra, Kannan Pillai of Aegon Life Insurance,  Dhananjay Pawar, Principal, RPTS School and DCP Crime Gajanan Rajmane flagged off the races.Â
