With Christmas coming home and Santa ready to hit the skies and grab some cookies from the houses of kids. A Christmas party for kids and their beloved moms, was held at Hotel LB. organized by ‘2STEPZ’ and ‘NUTRIgood’ the most awaited event of the year ‘Santa Calling’ on December 21.
The event had many attractions like magic for kids to put awe on their face, a photo booth for moms to grab few selfies along with their families and even lip smacking dishes on the food stalls.
A fashion show between moms along with their kids was held during the event in which more than 40 participants took part. Contestants were divided into three categories, where the category one and category two were based on the age groups of kids which were below and above the age of four, respectively. While the third category was completely dedicate to the solo performances of kids.
The mesmerizing performance of these kids left everyone in awe. Mom and kids category had each person at the venue bloom their eyes with love while looking at the peak performances of mom accompanied with their kids and the best duo one could ever look at in their life time. The mom and kids category had a fashion show where the moms had few lines quoted for their kids and even the kids sang for their moms out of love.
Rashmi Agrawal a mom who participated in the fashion show along with her daughter Navya Agrawal shared her experience with TLN “we are here for the first time and hope that we had impressed our judges. We have rehearsed our lines and acts for few times because of which Navya was confidnt enough to sing the song for me on the stage.†Navya who was on a much younger side had sung “teri ungli pakad ke†from a very known song which describes the love and relation of mom and daughter.
Anita Lakhwani and her daughter Chia who was 2 years old were also the participants in Fashion show and were amazed by the helping nature of the organizers “both the organizer have been working hard enough to keep all of their participants settled down and to provide the best atmosphere and experience.â€
From Category one (mom and kids) the duo of Swapna Raut and Vihaan Raut were the winners and the runners up were Kanak Virani and Meher Virani. From category two (mom and kids) Komal Virani and Diya Virani were the winners, with the runners up being Depali Mishra and Divesh Mishra.
From solo performances of the kids Smera Kewalramani was the winner and Om Totalwar was the runner up of the night.
Madhumita Gubre one of the two organizers shared her idea of Santa Calling with TLN, she said, “it is a great platform for the little ones to explore the new ways of getting on stage and build a relationship with their moms. I personally like to see these duos performing on stage and standing for each other”.
Meghna Pandit another organizer of the mega event shares,†I have been experiencing a new way to come close to both of my beloved ones through these moms. The participants were very coordinating in every way.â€
The results were decided by a panel of the jury where Ankita Darvhekar who has been the Mrs. India Universe, runner up of 2019 along with Grisha Arya Miss Universe Kids was also present in the event.
