The financial woes in true sense created a difficult situation for the Nagpur division of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC).As per reports, about 30 buses could not ply from Ganeshpeth, Wardhaman Nagar, Ghat Road and Imambaba depots due to non-availability of diesel. And many passengers have faced problems for reaching their destination because of the suspension of bus services.
As per source, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) stopped the supply of diesel to MSRTC due to non-payment of outstanding bills. And due to the lack of fuel bus services in four depots had suspended. And finally a diesel tanker of IOC arrived at a depot after payment of bills by the divisional office of MSRTC to the IOC after two days as IOC had not remitted the payment. After many bus services are being cancelled in the bus depots of Nagpur, the indifferent attitude of the authorities is making the situation more worse.
