Recently the district collector Ravindra Thakre issued an order to allow liquor shops to remain open till late night on New Year’s Eve under Maharashtra Prohibition Act section 139(1) C and section 143(2) for special concession.
As per information, beer bars and permit holding clubs will remain open till next day at 5am for club members. And it will remain open till 1 am. As per information beer bars and permit holder clubs can sell liquor till 5 am next morning. This concession was also given on December 24 and December 25.
