Regional Meteorological centre Nagpur has released a press release in which a warning for rain in Vidarbha for next 5 days have been issued.
As per the source,in Nagpur Thunderstorm with lightning is expected. As per information, the Confluence Zone is likely to develop due to the merging of southwesterly winds from the Arabian Sea with south-easterlies from the Bay of Bengal.
In the wake of this convergence, scattered light rain may commence in parts of Vidarbha and Marathwada on December 30. By December 31 or January 1, weather department is expecting few intense spells of rain in these two meteorological divisions.
