The first expansion of the Thackeray cabinet has given prominent place to Vidarbha as the ruling Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government has rewarded eight posts of ministers and Legislative Assembly Speaker.
These include seven Cabinet ministers and one Minister of State. The seven Cabinet ministers include 4 from Congress, two are from Nationalist Congress Party, and Shiv Sena got one Cabinet Minister also one Minister of State.
And everybody is now eagerly waiting for which portfolios will be entrusted upon these ministers.
Here is the list of the ministers:
Anil Deshmukh of Nationalist Congress Party and Sunil Kedar of Congress from Nagpur district.
Dr.Rajendra Shingne of Nationalist Congress Party from Buldhana district, Vijay Wadettiwar of Congress from Chandrapur district, Sanjay Rathod of Shiv Sena from Yavatmal district took oath of as minister during Cabinet expansion. And Yashomati Thakur of Congress and Bachhu Kadu of Prahar Janshakti Party from in Amravati district got posts of ministers.Bacchu Kadu has got post of Minister of State while others have got status of Cabinet ministers.
However, Gondia, Bhandara, Gadchiroli, Wardha, Akola and Washim districts have got no representation in State Cabinet.
