The ‘Mummy Papa You Too’ campaign initiated by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation, school education and sports department and traffic police department has planned a week-long program from 13/01/2020 to 19/01/2020.
A ‘Parents Meet’ was organized at The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School for spreading the awareness of the same on Saturday i.e 11/01/2020.Nagpur Municipal Commissioner Hon. Shri. Abhijeet Bangar presided the meeting. He appealed Nagpurians to strive to make Nagpur the cleanest city. He said if Indore can be the cleanest city, why can’t Nagpur? He also informed about the various activities initiated by the NMC for our Nagpur to be ‘Swaccha Nagpur, Sundar Nagpur’. Many queries and questions were asked by the parents and were effectively resolved by the Commissioner.
Miss Jui Pandharipande, an ex-student of the school presented a PPT presentation on ‘Solid Waste Management’. She informed about ‘Refuse, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle ‘ of plastic and its proper disposal.
Under this campaign, detailed information about the various competitions for parents and students to be held from 13/01/2020 19/01/2020 was briefed by the Headmistress Primary Mrs. Megha Padhye. She also urged the parents to follow all traffic rules for the safety of their wards.
The program was a great success under the guidance of the president and Chairman of the Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School Shri Makarand Pandharipande, Principal Mrs. Rupali Hingwe, Headmistress Primary Mrs. Megha Padhye.
