Since the Sadar flyover has been put in use for the public to commute the traffic at most of the locations, especially in the area which was aimed for has been getting a smooth flow of vehicle. The bridge was expected to cut down the traffic of Sadar area which includes Mangalwari, Chaoni, Sadar Market and more of the adjoining routes. Today during the rush hours when TLN visited the area near Haldirams, HOT SPOT the vehicles were seen moving with a smooth flow as the vehicles coming from MOIL were seen taking the bridge.
Even though the Sadar traffic got cut at some point it is being noticed that the bridge is causing a ruckus at the LIC Square end of the bridge. This end is said to have no traffic signals for which the whole idea of construction is being called as a glitch.
When looked at the whole plan the bridge already is playing a major role in evening out the traffic coming from MOIL, Mankapur and other areas. These areas earlier were the most crowded area during the rush hours and even in the evening time.
It is being planned that a traffic signal will be put on these spots to curb the traffic congestion.
Inauguration of this bridge was done on January 10, by the hands of Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways of India.
