A mission to improve its anti-ragging policy, under the pilot project of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences(MUHS) a committee presided by MUHS vice-chancellor Dr.Dileep Mhaisekar on Friday visited Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH) and Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital(IGGMCH).During the visit the team interacted with students and staff on anti-ragging initiatives in these colleges.
The aim of the team is to collect ragging and discrimination-related data from all government and private medical colleges. After the completion of the tour the team will submit an inclusive report in March.And the information will be present to the government as well as to the Medical Council of India. As per information, this will play an important testimonial while revising the anti-ragging policies in medical colleges.
