The Heronary Club run by The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School conducts various activities such as Bird Watching, Sapling Plantation, Nature Trail, etc. round the year for students of Std. V to VIII.
Bird Watching Trail was arranged for the students of Std VII at Gorewada on January 18 by the club members. The students were accompanied by Asst. Teachers Sucheta Shembekar & Neha Deshmukh. The students were guided by Mentor teacher Nitin Marathe, a conservist, watched ‘waders’ i.e. water birds and also saw migratory birds such as Red crested Poachard, Tufted poachard etc.
All in all, it was a nice experience for students. The trail was fruitful under the guidance of Chairman Makarand Pandharipande, Principal Rupali Hingwe and Head Mistress Primary Megha Padhye .
