Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior hit the theatres on January 10 and is loved by all and despite facing tough competition from Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak.The film was welcomed with an overwhelming response by the audience.
The film marks the milestone of 100th film of Ajay Devgn’s career. Tanhaji also features Sharad Kelkar, Jagapathi Babu, Devdutta Nage, Pankaj Tripathi, Neha Sharma, Ajinkya Deo, Kailash Waghmare, Hardik Sangani, Luke Kenny, and Vipul Gupta.
Opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis in a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray demanded ‘Tanaji- The Unsung Warrior’ movie to declare tax-free in the state.
In his letter to the Chief Minister, Fadnavis said that Tanaji Malusare was a brave warrior. More and more people should watch this film as his bravery is an example of the new generation.
The proposal for making the film tax free was approved in the Cabinet meeting which was chaired by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
