‘Little Wood’ which was developed by the Maha Metro in every sense a soothing experience for those who wants to breath fresh air away from the hullaballoo of the city.
Added to its beauty, now it has become an abode for different types of birds. Now the garden became a paradise for the local and migratory birds and also of the 150 peacocks. As per information, the Maha Metro had planted 14,500 various types of trees. The height of the trees in the garden reached to 15 to 20 feet. And in the morning and evening time the manmade forest is reverberated with the chirping of birds.
Located behind the catchment area of Ambazari Lake, it can be reached from Vasudeo Nagar, MIDC Hingna Road and Forest gate number 3. Little Wood is a creation of Maha Metro – perfectly planned and executed venture. As many as 5,500 trees have been planted here – preserving both the natural beauty and the existing plants.
