Numismatic Research Institute, Nagpur is organising a three-day All India Competitive Numismatic Exhibition ‘Nagmoney 2020’ from January 24 to 26 at Ramgopal Maheshwari Sanskrutik Sabhagruha, Hindi Mor Bhavan, Rani Jhansi Square, Sitabuldi, Piyush Agrawal said while addressing a press conference on Wednesday.
Dr Girish Gandhi, Trustee, Vanarai, will inaugurate the exhibition at 11.30 am while S K Bose from Kolkata will be the guest of honour of the event. Bose will be conferred with ‘Nagmoney 2020 Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar’ for his outstanding work in the field of Numismatics. Bose will deliver a lecture on ‘Numismatic Heritage of North-East India and its emerging trend in the study’.
The lecture will be held on January 25 at 4 pm. He will preside over the valedictory event to be held on January 26 at 4 pm.
Best three entries will be rewarded with trophies. Five consolation prizes also will be awarded during the valedictory function.
All participants of the exhibition will get a certificate. The three-day event will be provided most interesting, educative, informative and enlightening for the details of Numismatic as well as for the upcoming coin collectors. Shivaji’s coronation coins will be the major attraction of the event.
The coins will be put up for display at an exhibition. Sanjay Mishra, Bharat Sariya, G C Nagdeo, Jagdish Agarwal and Anuj Saxena and others are working hard for the success of the event and exhibition.
