The 3rd edition of biggest grass-root level sports extravaganza Khasdar Krida Mahotsav concluded with a Musical concert on January 24 at Yashwant Stadium.
One of the biggest grass-root level sports events gave a chance to around 40,000 sports enthusiasts of Nagpur.The stadium was jam-packed as music lovers and cricket fans came to see their favourite singer Jubin Nautiyal and allrounder cricketer of Indian cricket team Hardik Pandya. As soon as Hardik made his entrance the Nagpurians hooted to support him to the next level. All the people began clicking photos of their favourite cricketer.
“We organized 30 games in which around 40,000 people took part and it was a bliss to see people of all age group took part. I am glad that the especially abled kids actively participated in this sports event. I wish that we can make around 300 stadiums for different sports in and around the city. About 87 lakh worth prize were distributed in the 12day long sports extravaganza. We wish all the sportsman a great success in future,” said Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.Khasdar krida Maharshi puraskar 2020 was given to Bhau kane and was awarded Rs 5 lakh as prize money.
Nitin Gadkari Devendra Fadnavis bowled to Hardik and he hit the ball towards the crowd and all were ready to grab the autographed ball. A small talk show was held in which Hardik shared his experience with all.
Hardik even took a selfie with the crowd and also did a ramp walk with the kids and even danced on the tunes of the family song bala shaitan ka sala.
After a power pack dance performance of Hardik, Jubin set the stage on fire with his powerful voice. Tere jane ka gum, while meherbani song was dedicated to the organizers of Khasdar Krida Mahotsav. Gajab ka hai din, pehla nasha, bavara maan dekho aake barse , mai tere kabil hu ya tere kabil nahi.The event began on January 12 this year in which various sports events were held giving the opportunity to thousands of sports enthusiasts to take part. 800 people took part in the category of divyang and matimand. Krida bhushan award was given to 30 people along with prize money of Rs 25,000.
The closing ceremony was graced by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Davendra Fadnavis, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Mayor Sandeep Joshi and many other dignitaries.
