The Chanda Devi Saraf School- Katol Road witnessed their middle school annual function on January 21 at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall. The function commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by honorable school director Nisha Saraf, the school principal Kenneth Mendonca along with the honored guests.
The school Principal welcomed the dignitaries and the parents.
The students of class 5th to 8th performed dance- drama based on the theme ‘Kalidas rachit: Abhigyan Shakuntalam’ (Ek Stree). The school director congratulated the students for their mesmerized performance and wished them to excel in their creativity along with the education.
The programme was appreciated by the guests & parents. The play was prepared by Triveni Gaikwad. The Middle school floor incharge Hemlata Dholte, school teachers along with the choreographer Jayshree Meshram worked hard to ensure the success of the programme.
The beautiful props were prepared by the arts & craft teacher Vijayshree Naidu & the students. A vote of thanks was proposed by Usha Bhatt.
