The northerly winds and the presence of moisture really decreased the temperature and aggravated the winter chill in Nagpur. And as per the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Nagpur the winter chill and cloudy weather will remain till February 5.
Due to transition period the days become hotter and nights will remain cold throughout the month. Whereas the cloudy weather decreased the day temperature below normal and this condition will remain upto February 5, the meteorologist added. On Sunday, the minimum temperature in Nagpur was recorded 13.4 degree Celsius while the maximum was 27.0 degrees.
Due to cloudy weather the maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 3.3 degree Celsius below normal. Similarly, Gondia recorded the lowest minimum temperature with 11.6 degree Celsius whereas the maximum was 26.2 degrees. Other parts of Vidarbha also recorded 2-3 degree dip in day temperature on Sunday. Wardha and Bramhapuri recorded little rains on Sunday and other places were dry.
