Yash Gulhane, Himani Fadke and Vaishnavi Hajare excelled in their respective category in the 1st Swimathon 2020 which was organised by Sportians Academy of Sports Excellence under the aegis of Aquatic Association, Nagpur at NIT Swimming Pool, on Sunday.
More than 170 swimmers participated in the event. Yash Gulhane, a student of School of Scholars achieved first place in 500 m freestyle in Under-20 section. In the same category, Himani Fadke while representing Shark Club secured first place. In 1000 m freestyle section, Ayaan Khwaja excelled in the boys category whereas Vaishnavi Hajare came first in the girls section.

U-40 men 500 m freestyle: Sagar Kamble (Officer Club), Aditya Kalele (Parul Aquatic Consultancy), Nikesh Dondode (Shivani Bandh Swim).
Above 40 men 300 m freestyle: Shripad Balki (Chandrapur), Sanjay Narwane (HVPM Amravati), Amit Porwal (CP Club).
Above 40 women 300 m freestyle: Sushma Bajpai (Nagpur), Vandana Kadao (Officer Club), Neelima Dharkar (NIT Swimming Pool).
U-12 boys 500 m: Siddharth Sangha (Star), Amogh Kandgul (Star), Swarnim Mahajan (SOS)
