Literature is of course is the celebration of life, and the hosting readings and debates by some of the most celebrated authors, literary meets offer a space where readers can better acquaint themselves with their favourite contemporary authors. And city is all gearing up for such a festival in which many eminent personalities will interact, express their literary experience.
The literary festival organised by Vidarbha Literary Festival ( VLF) will enthrall audience on February 8 and February 9 at Chitnavis Centre. Along with other dignitaries the luminaries those address the audience include Dr Anjali Hooda Sangwan, a fellow in Obesity Medicine and Nutrition Support from USA; Dr Uday Kulkarni, a surgeon; Shantanu Gupta is an author, TEDx speaker, political analyst and Seema Mundoli. Dr Anjali Hooda Sangwan, MD (Internal Medicine) is a fellow in Obesity Medicine and Nutrition Support from USA. Dr Anjali wants to create easy to-follow health awareness through this book – Think Eat and Live smart. She is available during the VLF at Nagpur. Her session will be moderated by Dr Rashmi Bansal. Seema Mundoli is a senior lecturer at Azim Premji University, India. Her recent work examines the relationship between people and nature in cities. In addition to research papers and popular articles, she has co-edited State of the Environment 2005: Andaman and Nicobar Islands. At the VLF, she will be talking about her latest book – Cities and Canopies. Her session will be moderated by Dr Tanisha Dutta. Dr Uday S Kulkarni is a Surgeon by training and practises his art in Pune, India.
He is an alumnus of the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College at Pune. He has a post graduate degree with distinction in communication and journalism from the University of Pune. He has written Solstice at Panipat, Bakhar of Panipat, Era of Bajirao. At the VLF, he will be speaking about his latest book – James Wales – Artist and Antiquarian in the era of Peshwa Sawai Madhavrao. His session will be moderated by Manish Patil. Shantanu Gupta is an author, TEDx speaker and political analyst. He has an engineering degree from GB Pant University, management education from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and did his masters in policy and politics from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex (United Kingdom). At the VLF, he will be interacting with the readers on his latest book – BJP – Past Present and Future. His session will be moderated by Aniruddh Hazra.
