Sai XI and SFS XI recorded easy victories over their opponents in the All-India RPCL-5 Tennisball Cricket Tournament at Mecosabagh ground, here on Wednesday.
In the first match Grenadiers XI , Nagpur batted first and we’re restricted to a modest total of 34 for 9 wickets in 8 overs. Rohit 11 (19 balls) was the only batsman to reach the double-figure mark. For SAI XI, Ajay (3 wickets for 10, ) and Vrushabh (2 for 3 runs) were the main wicket-takers.
Sai XI , Nagpur notched up the required runs for victory losing four wickets in the process. Neal contributed 20 runs in just 11 balls. For Grenadiers XI , Ved and Rohit captured two wickets each.
In the second match, SFS XI batted first and scored a respectable 60 runs losing five wickets in 8 overs. Rasik 27 ( 18 balls) and Vaibhav 17 (11 balls) were the main contributors.bParesh 2 for 9 , Rajat 1 for 25, and Yogesh 1 for 7 were the main wicket-takers for Nagpur Indians.
In reply, Nagpur Indians XI have restricted to 38 runs mainly due to fine bowling performance by Ravi 3 wickets for 13 and Pranav 2 for 5. For losers, Shubham 13(10 balls)was the only batsman to reach the double-figure mark.
Venketesh Umredkar was given the man of the match for best bowling performance at the hands of  Vikas Kolhekar Principal St. Michael’s School, Chandrapur,  Moses Palparti, Headmaster Bishop Cotton Primary School (State Board),  Sanjay Singh Secretary All Saints Cathedral and Mohd. Irfan Rajjak Secretary RCA and RPCL-5 were present on the occasion.
