Pro-Health Foundation is organising Triathlon and Duathlon on February 9. Director of foundation Amit Samarth said that the races will be flagged off on February 9 from Joggers Park near Police Gymkhana at 6.30 am. More than 250 participants from all over India will be participating.
The Tigerman Triathlon will be flagged off at 7 am. Participants will have to swim 3 km and they cycle 120 km followed by another 25 km run. This triathlon will be for participants above 18 years.
The swimming event will be held at Ambazari lake while running and cycling will be flagged off from Jogger’s park.In the Olympic Distance Run, participants will have to swim 1500 mtrs, cycle 40 kms and then again run for 10 km. The Sprint distance run will be of – 750 mtr swimming, 20 km cycling and again 5 km run for below 18 years and
above 18 years of age. All the races can be done as a solo participant or a team of two or three. The Tiger Duathlon will be flagged off at 6.30 am. Participants will have to do 10 km swimming, 40 km cycling and again 5 km running.
In the 2 km run, the events will be 10 km Cycling and 2 km run. This race will be open for all.
Winners will get specially made Best Finisher T-shirt along with certificate and trophy.
Spot registrations will be done on February 8 at Police Gymkhana Jogger’s Street from 12 noon to 7 pm. Online entries can be confirmed at www.tigerman.in.
