The dream project of Mayor Sandip Joshi Khau Galli had already faced many criticism because of its delay in inauguration, but and now even after the inauguration, the stall owners are being asked to hold the openings of their stalls. The proposed 32 stalls which were supposed to open the very next day of inauguration are still unfunctional.
The space given to the stall owners can be seen vacant and not even the equipments are seen on the stalls. Khau Galli was inaugurated on January 9 by the hands of Union Minister, Nitin Gadkari.
Recently, during the Chor Bazaar few things from Khau Galli were found to be stolen. Along with the shop owners even the visitors are awaiting the opening of Khau Galli.
State General Secretary of Janhit Cell of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Mahesh Joshi, State Secretary Sushrut Kher, District President Iqbal Rizvi, MNS City President Vishal Badge also visited the location just to find it closed and deserted.
It was also being said that, on January 26 Khau Galli would speed up and get the desirable momentum, but that too failed as even in February the stalls along with the whole location seems to be in the same condition as before the inauguration.
