Food and Cultural Festival “Vyanjan-2020” has been organized on February 8 and 9 in the premises of South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) under the joint aegis of SCZCC and Nagpur & Bharat Vikas Parishad.
The program was inaugurated by MLA Vikas Thakre, MLA Prakash Gajbhiye and Director of South Central Region Cultural Center, Nagpur, Deepak Khirwadkar.
The program started with Vande Mataram sang by school students, after which the guests were welcomed by giving them saplings. The event has more than 30 stalls with a variety of cuisine which include Chaat, Sabudana Vada, Puranpoli and many more exciting and tempting food items.
Along with the food stalls, a cultural night has also been organized in the evening where various cultural and dance program will be presented by number of city artists. The artists were not selected by the organizers but in fact invited through a registration process, which again gave performers from the city to showcase their talent on a heavily crowded platform.
Vyanjan 2020 food festival is a showcase of talent from city based chiefs, homemaker and well known food stalls on small scale as well as origami artists and dancers to singers. Handmade paper flowers and other artifact along with painting and drawing by city based talents is also an attraction in Vyanjan 2020.
