Rocket International entered the quarterfinals in the RPCL All India Tennisball Cricket Tournament at Mecosabagh ground.
Rocket International, Nagpur and Target XI, Bhilai were in contention for topping the table in Group D having two victories each in the league phase but Rocket International recorded an exciting one-run victory to top the table & qualify for the quarterfinals, while Target XI qualified for the pre Quarterfinals by virtue of two wins in league phase.from group D.
RockeXI, Nagpur batted first and scored 62 for 6 wickets in 8 overs. Amit Tajne top scored with 21 runs with the aid of two sixers. Amit Shahane scored a quickfire 15 with the aid of three fours. Amarnath Yadav and Shubham Thakur took 2 wickets each for 11 & 17 runs respectively.
In reply, Target XI Bhilai was bowled out for 61 runs falling short by just one run. The heroic efforts by Vikas Singh 26 (10, 2×4 2×6) Om Yadu 11 (4, 1×6, 1×4) went in vain.

In yet another league match, Rocket International registered 8eight wkts victory over Topaz XI, Indore.
Topaz XI batted first and scored 63 for six wickets in 8 overs. Rahul Baghel 25 (2×4, 2×6) Azhar khan, Devendra Adhikari (15) runs each was the other contributors. Amit Shahane took two wickets for 16 runs.
Amit Shahane who excelled with the ball also gave a fine performance with the bat too. He contributed 31 runs with the aid of three fours and 1 six. Talish Patel played in whirlwind fashion to score 23 with the aid of 3 sixers off just 9 balls. He registered fine victory by hitting a six.
