Jay Karan Singh, Development Commissioner MIHAN SEZ & Addl DGFT, Nagpur informed about the Niryat Bandhu Scheme, which facilitates the entrepreneurs, who wish to enter into exports through this session and by participating and involving in the active network of 36 DGFT Offices spread across the cities.
He was addressing the Export Awareness Seminar and Mid Term Review of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 under Niryat Bandhu Scheme being jointly organised by The Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, Nagpur, Govt of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry in association with EXIM Forum of Vidarbha Industries Association at VIA Auditorium.
Singh further highlighted the major components of the schemes, which are preparation, development and use of New IEC by the holder; Monitoring New and Potential exporter through counseling and training.
Dr Diieeraj  C Dabhole, Dy DGFT, Nagpur his presentation informed about the introduction and operation of the Foreign Trade Policy, incentives and benefits available to exporters under present FTP.
He further highlighted the various provisions of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20. He also informed about The Indian Trade Portal, export opportunities, export market strategies, export-import data bank, trade inquiry, EXIM Policy of your product – ITCHS like Free items which do not require any Licence / Authorisation / Permission from the DGFT have been denoted as ‘Free’. 96% items are free items. Restricted items is permitted under an Import Licence / Authorisation / Permission granted by the DGFT. STE items allowed only through specified State Trading Enterprises (STEs) subject to specific conditions laid out in the FTP. Prohibited item is not permitted.
He also advised the entrepreneurs as well as existing exporters regarding Foreign Trade Policy and Procedure for augmenting exports by making exporters and entrepreneur families with schemes and incentives available under FTP.

Pratik Tapadia, Chairman – VIA EXIM Forum in his welcome address he said about activities of the forum and opportunities available for exporters and exporters/importers must take advantage of DGFT Schemes.
Gaurav Sarda, Hon. Secretary – VIA conducted the proceedings and also proposed a formal vote of thanks. Large number of member of the association, exporters / importers, prospective exporters were prominently present during the session.
