It was indeed a good day for the job aspirants of the city as around 5,445 unemployed youth got jobs out of 28,640 persons, who had registered, for the sixth Youth Empowerment Summit at Nagpur on Sunday. As per information, the summit was jointly organised by F Foundation, Suksham Laghu va Madhyam Vikas Sanstha, Engineering College Placement Association and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) at Amdar Nivas on Sunday.
As per information, the summit witness over 60 companies participation.HR personnel from various companies held interviews in the hundred rooms of Amdar nivas and selected 5,445 candidates and gave them joining letters from the first of next month. There were many candidates, who got selected for two to three companies.
Candidates who had come for the summit were from Nagpur, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Wardha, Gondiya and other places. Union bank divisional manager Sumer Singh and chief manager Pramod Thakur handed the joining letters to many candidates during the concluding function.
