The Chanda Devi Saraf School Celebrated Shivaji Jayanti with Zeal & Enthusiasm

The Chanda Devi Saraf School celebrated the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great Maratha warrior. All the three branches of the school i.e. Tender Steps, The Chanda Devi Saraf School (Hingna road & Katol Road branch)students performed skitson ShivajiMaharaj.The life and the rise of the Maratha Empire was portrayed in various skits.

The school teachers (katol road branch) Mrs.ShivaniPaunikar, Mrs.HemlataDhote,  Mrs. Manisha Akhre, M/s SonaliChikle, Mrs. SonaliKhawase, Mrs.VijayshreeNaiduwere instrumental in putting up the staged acts.Mrs. JayshreeMeshramchoreographed the acts. Through the skits the students were given the information about Shivaji & his efforts to create the Great Maratha Empire.  “Time have changed, dynasties have come & gone but the greatness of Shivaji is still alive in the minds of the every Indian.”

The function was graced by the School Director Mrs. Nisha Saraf, Mrs. PoornimaPatil& Mrs. SuhasChitnavis. The vote of thanks was given by Mrs. PreetiThakre.
