Wicket-keeper batsman Pratik Siddharth scored an unbeaten 45 as defending champion The Times of India drubbed Tarun Bharat by six wickets to enter the final in 22nd OCW-SJAN Inter-Press Cricket Tournament at Dr Ambedkar College ground here on Monday.
The tournament has been organised in association with SBI and HCL Technologies.
Batting first Tarun Bharat were all out for 93 in 18.3 overs. Lakhan Jaiswal top scored with 36 Dinesh Borkar and nitin Baitule scored 12 each. For TOI, captain Piyush Patil and Sandeep Wardhane claimed three wickets.
In reply TOI achieved the target losing just four wickets in  9.4 overs.. Siddharth played an unbeaten knock of 45. He was well supported by Piyush Patil (18), Rupesh Bhaik (14) and Vinay Pande (13).
CEO of Tirupati Urban Co-operative Bank Rajendra Raut gave man-of-the-match trophy to Pratik Siddharth. On Tuesday the second semi-final will be played between Lokmat and Deshonnati.
