Youth for Unity and Voluntary Action (YUVA) has organized a two-day long training on Housing Finance and Municipal budget for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Urban Practitioners, Academicians and Students from 25-26 th February 2020, at Press Club of Nagpur.
Urban Practitioners working in urban engage every day with multiple stakeholders at various levels. Their interventions include grass-root engagement, research, advocacy, etc. Hence, it’s become vital to equip practitioners with knowledge and tools that can build their understanding and develop their technical expertise on Municipal Budgets and Housing Finance and enhance their understanding of key issues that form the bedrock of urban development.
The workshop was facilitated by Mr Nitin Meshram (YUVA), Mr Manikandan and Ms Sayal, Indian Housing Federation (IHF) and Mr Jawed Alam, Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability (CBGA).
In the workshop, Centre for Sustainable Development (CFSD), Indian Institute of youth welfare (IIYW), B.P National College of Social work, Swacch Nagpur, Garaj Foundation, Mahila Aaarthik Vikas Mandal, Credit Cooperative Societies and Urban Practitioners participated in the workshop.
