Confederation of Indian Industry, Vidarbha Zone recently Launched CII’s CXO Roundtable during CII Vidarbha Zone Annual Meet 2020.

The CXO Roundtable was moderated by Rahul Dixit, Chairman – CII Vidarbha Zonal Council & Director, Dicksons Engineering Co. Pvt. Ltd.
CXO Round Table on “Decoding Challenges For Growth†deliberated on the current economy situation & what are the key factors which companies should look for the growth. Indian Government has an ambitious target of achieving a 5 Tn$ Economy by 2025. This would need a near double digit growth every year.
The deliberation focused on Growth Challenges especially since the Industry is still grappling with slow-down but there are better times visible ahead. The esteemed Panellists were represented diverse industry segments like IT, Manufacturing, Environment, Finance, HR etc and each one of them is an accomplished Leader and a visionary. CXO roundtable draw upon their wisdom and requested them to guide the industry members in formulating a growth strategy.
Some of the challenges addressed were, Indian Industry needs to rapidly adapt Industry 4.0 and leverage IoT and AI for becoming globally competitive, MSME which accounts for almost 75% of Indian Industry needs to transform and adopt latest technology, Digital Economy and the way ahead for industry, Distribution Challenges with GST breaking down geographical boundaries and seamless transfer of goods, Distribution Strategy for Industry with e-commerce and online market places, IBC which is a landmark reform should encourage Industry to revive stalled projects, Credit Access to MSME a major deterrent for industry growth, Access to Technology – Technical Collaborations to ensure global quality standards, Partnerships/JVs, the key for rapid growth?, Innovation and the need to have a key differentiator in the market place, Employable Manpower continuous to be a major challenge despite of several skilling initiatives, Employee Engagement and Strategic HR initiatives for achieving organisational objectives, Capital Markets to be explored by MSMEs for growth?, Outlook for IT / ITES companies, Services/Products/Solutions- The way ahead for IT sector, Opportunities in Environmental Engineering, Water Management, Waste to Wealth.
More than 200 Invitees from Government, Media, Academia & various Industries across the sectors from Vidarbha attended the CXO Roundtable during CII Vidarbha Zone Annual Meet 2020.
CII has also proposed to have monthly “Knowledge Series†of CXO Roundtable specially for CXO’s on the Challenges, Opportunities, Growth, Building Competitiveness and many more aspects catering to the need of the CXO’s will be organized.
