Dharampeth Science College organised Dr. Ashok Shekdar memorial PPT presentation competition on March 6 in the college.
In all 16 colleges and 41 entries from in and around Nagpur participated in this competition in large numbers. The topics selected for  the presentation were very current and attune with the time the topics were –
1) Corona virus infection a threat to human life.
2) Endocrine disorders and modern lifestyle.
3) Artificial intelligence.
4) E-waste management
5) Methods to minimize Carbon footprints and Solid waste management.
The judges for the competition were Dr. Bhosale from Institute of Science College Nagpur and Dr. Dhote from Centre Point College Nagpur.
The first cash prize of Rs.1500/ was bagged by Priti Aiyyar of Dr. Ambedkar College Nagpur the second prize of Rs.1000/ was won by Mishra from SFS college and the third prize went to J.B. Science college Wardha.
The overall running trophy was clinched by Dr. Ambedkar College Nagpur. The prizes were given to the winners at the hands of the Principal Dr. Akhilesh Peshwe. Present on the occasion were Dr. Archana Kulkarni Vice Principal of the college, Convener of the program Dr. Kirti Paturkar and the members of the committee Dr. Madhukar Dhongade, Dr. Vidya Kathoke, Dr. P.T Humane and other staff members. The program was compered by Prof. Snehal Narale. President and Secretary of Dharampeth education society Advocate Ulhas Aurangabadkar and Ratnakar Kekatpure conveyed their best wishes too all the winners of the competition.
