In order to control the outbreak of COVID-19 in the state, people with corona- virus-like symptoms will be tested at their homes by a medical team, informed district collector Ravindra Thakare while addressing a press conference.
The district collector said that that the administration team would go to the houses of the suspects and take a sample after the control room is informed. The suspect if tested positive for the infection will be then shifted to the with proper care.
He further added that after showing symptoms like cold, cough, fever, it is necessary that the affected person should remain isolated at home for 14 days. He appealed all the citizens to contact the control room of the administration on seeing the symptoms of coronavirus.
According to the standard set by the union ministry of health, if the report is positive’, then only the patient will be admitted to Mayo or GMCH.
Police will also be deployed at the hospitals so that no coronavirus patient leaves the premises, he added.
