It has been reported that the online lottery for free admission to schools under the Right to Education (RTE) Act will be conducted at Pune on Tuesday.As per information,the entire lottery process is being organized at Pune and education officials will be present during the process.
This year, amid coronavirus scare very few officials will be present and have been asked to join in through video conferencing. While the lottery draw software will be triggered on Tuesday and parents will get to know the results on Thursday on their registered mobile number.
In Nagpur, just over 30,000 applications have come in for around 6700 seats. Free RTE seats are available in all schools, except minority institutions. However even they can volunteer to be part of the process and give free admission for which the state reimburse them.
