Sachin Patil (IND) and his doubles partner Deepak Marwa (IND), the top-seed doubles pair, defeated Andrews Adu Appiah (GHANA) and Aakash KALE (IND) in a thrilling Open Doubles Men’s 40+ event at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Senior Ranking G4 Tennis Championship.
The tournament was held in Raipur from March 9th-14th and was organized by Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association (CSTA).
Sachin Patil and Deepak Marwa played a nail-biting second set where they made an exciting come back and won the match with a score of 6-1, 7-5.
Immediately following his spectacular win at ITF championship, Raipur; Sachin Patil proceeded to play in the Tournament held on behalf of Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) at Reformers Club Yavatmal.
More than 80 players from all over Maharashtra state competed in the Tournament. SACHIN played back to back matches and paved this way to the Men’s Singles 35+ final.
He was declared the winner of Men’s Singles 35+ event after recording the win against Sanjay Chandwani (Amravati) with a score of 6-4.
