The civic authority in Akola District has taken the major decision in fighting a war against COVID-19 as the civic administration of the Akola has decided to keep the lockdown for three days from tomorrow.
Earlier a lockdown order was issued to prevent COVID-19 outbreak in major metropolitan areas of Mumbai, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and Nagpur. All four major metros will be closed until March 31. Likewise, a lockdown order has been issued in Akola district.
District Collector Jitendra Papalkar has decided to closure Akola district for next three days from March 22 to 24 and accordingly instructions have been given to all concerned. As per the order, all other transactions will be closed for the next three days.
