The outbreak of novel coronavirus has in complete sense created havoc in every section of the society. And in a bid to contain the spread of the coronavirus, the district collector has ordered complete closure of all the shops barring essential commodities in city. Needless to say, it has really unleashed adverse impact on the economy and the most affected the marginalised section of the society with meagre income.
Yes, the daily labourers, the kiosk operators, handcarts men are on verge of starvation. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures to protect them. The workers working in the malls and big shops, the porters, security guards and drivers of the goods vehicles compelled to stay at home. And this is really unfortunate and should take the needy action to save them.
As per information, more than 50,000 labourers, workers and kiosk operators suffered huge losses. And the most important fact, while mitigating with the current situation this marginal income group of the society is ignored. And if they do not get timely help then their livelihood will be in danger and for the protection and wellbeing of their families these workers would come on road breaking all the rules and directions. So it is pertinent that the government should immediately announce a help package for them.
