As we know the nation is undergoing through a complete lockdown after the outbreak of novel coronavirus. This lockdown in complete sense affected our lives. Earlier, after the letter received from the Union Human Resource Development Ministry the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) had given order of ‘work from home’ to all its teachers, researchers and non-teaching staff until March 31.Now the lockdown period is extended, and the varsity has issued fresh orders of ‘work from home’ till April 14 to all post graduate departments, colleges as well as all affiliated colleges.
As per information, the teachers, researchers and non-teaching staff were asked to work from home during this period and also develop online content while at home.
Meanwhile, the letter of lockdown extension was received on March 24 from the Union home ministry as well as state’s revenue. Forest, disaster management, rehabilitation departments on March 25.After this new development, the university has appealed all its employees to work from home and follow the directions issued by the union government, University Grants Commission, state government.
As per information, the university has also deferred all examinations scheduled between April 1 and 14.
