Residents of the Sataranjipura area, which has now turned into a hot spot of COVID-19 in Nagpur, are still hiding their health information, prompting the process of sending most of the people to the isolation ward. As per the orders given by Tukaram Mundhe, Municipal Commissioner around 1200 residents will be quarantined by Tuesday.
Talking on the topic Mundhe informed, “Sataranjipura area has become a hotspot for Nagpur in terms of coronavirus.
Therefore, a team of Nagpur Municipal Corporation is conducting a daily survey in this area. Citizens are being asked for their information however, the survey revealed that citizens still do not provide complete informationâ€.
Earlier, about 200 people who came in contact with the victim of the corona had hidden their health information. Putting them under quarantine on time averted a major infection. Still the number of those found positive has reached 80. And in this situation, if the residents hide their health-related information, many unavoidable conditions could surface in the coming time. If measures are not taken now, the outbreak will not take long to hit the city.
