G H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur’s BETiC-GHRCE is working on a project to fight against the Coronavirus Pandemic. To reduce contact of Medical staff with positive COVID patients, GHRCE BETiC team had developed a remote-controlled based Autonomous Food Serving Trolley which will serve 12 -15 plates of food in positive COVID patient’s isolation ward.
This product is designed and developed by BETiC GHRCE team including Mr. Vineet Likhar (Final yr Electronics Student), Prof. Shailesh Bhalerao, Dr. Vibha Bora BETiC Incharge, Prof.Suraj Dudhe, Dr.Nilesh Awate, Mr.Gautam Nitnaware, Non-teaching under the guidance of Dr. Sachin Untawale, Director, GHRCE Nagpur, Dr. Mrunal Phatak, AIIMS and Director Major General Dr. Vibha Dutta, AIIMS, Nagpur.
This food serving trolley functions autonomously without involving medical staff and provide food to the COVID patients in periodic intervals.
Testing is undergoing in the BETiC lab before final implementation in AIIMS/IGGMC Nagpur for COViD patients. The team thanked all Deans and Heads of GHRCE for their kind support. Under corporate social responsibility, GHRCE is giving this to COVID Yodhas to avoid contact with positive COVID patients.
