Amid Lockdown government is trying every bit to mitigate the difficulties in education sector in the country. On Saturday Human Resource Development Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank informed that 3000 CBSE affiliated schools across India have been identified as assessment centers. Special permission will be granted to these schools for the limited purpose of evaluation.
With this the evaluation of CBSE class 10, 12 board exam papers will begin tomorrow. Keeping in view the COVID-19 lockdown, it has been decided that teachers will evaluate the answer copies at their home. Further, there will no restriction in transporting answer sheets to the residences of evaluators except in areas falling in the containment zones.
Dr Nishank tweeted that “I am confident that this will help us to quickly evaluate the 2.5 crore answer sheets. The results will be declared after the board examinations (scheduled between July 1 and 15)â€.
