As we know the country is going through a difficult phase after the outbreak of COVID-19 and it has badly affected the normal life of man on earth. Amid this juncture, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has formed a national wide study model for the students. As per the instructions of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development, the NCERT has prepared new modules of studies.NCERT director Dr.Hrishikesh Senapati said that the main focus on how to teach students at home during lockdown.
Preparations are on to launch a full-day channel on Doordarshan for students from class one to 12.It will run the programmes of two hours each. These programmes will mainly for children from class one to eight so that students do not get addicted to mobile. In order to follow the rules properly, programmes will be started on radio and TV. Online studies on mobile, tablet or laptop will be only for students from 9th to 12th standard.
He also said that the proposal have been sent to the government that schools should reopen after the summer vacation and an odd-even model may be adopted on 50-50 percent basis so that the social-distancing rules are followed. As per information, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will release the academic calendar for the students of class 12 next week and will conduct a meeting on the NCERT recommendations. After that the guidelines may be issued regarding the NCERT model.
