Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray filed the nomination for the upcoming Maharashtra Legislative Council election on May 11 which is scheduled for May 21.
The MLC election will take place for nine seats of the upper house of Maharashtra Assembly. Currently CM Uddhav Thackeray is not the member of any house and has to be a member of either house within a period of six month after taking up the charge as a Chief Minister.
