Indian Railway Station Development Corporation Limited had called bids from various companies to develop four railway stations in country as world class railway stations.
As per information, development works worth Rs.1300 crore will be done at Nagpur, Gwalior, Amritsar and Sabarmati railway stations.The bids of 32 companies out of all bids received by Indian Railway Station Development Corporation Limited were found to be eligible.The bids were opened on June 26,2020.
The bids were called in July 2019.The companies who will be eligible from these bids for redevelopment of railway stations will be selected and included in further procedure.The railways will provide land to concerned companies for development of railway stations.After scrutiny of bids of various companies,request for proposal will be invited from selected companies.
