The Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court on Tuesday directed the civic authority of the city to complete the various development works going on at Kasturchand Park by coming October 2020.The court also stated that all potholes should be filled up coming days, ground should be flattened and remove encroachments.
The court was hearing a PIL pending in the high court in this matter. Earlier, the court had ordered NMC to remove encroachments on Kasturchand Park and surrounding area on April 27, 2017.
The commissioner of police was ordered to provide the required security for the purpose had ordered to ensure that encroachments should not be allowed in this area. However, the negligence of administration made the condition of Kasturchand Park worse.
