JCI Nagpur Medico, Zone IX had recently conducted a wonderful five day long program “Panchtatva†on occasion of world environment day 2020. On these five days, talks on pollution of one element of environment namely air, space, fire, water and earth each day were been discussed and an unique contest was announced every day. People from different regions of Maharashtra participated in this contest and made it a big success.
First day, Green nature photography contest was organised. Total 81 entries were received. Judge for this contest was Mr. Mithun Lokhande, a professional photographer. Two categories were made. Winners of processional photography category are first Anshul Nimje, second Nehul Lodha, third Vaibhav Nayak. Winners in Amateur category are first Mayur Chankile, second Dr. Minal Kamble, third Nidhi Rahpade.
On day two, video contest on how to save water was announced. Total 6 entries were received. Judge for this contest was Mrs. Geeta Nannaware, Divisional Forest Officer, Social Forestry Department. Winners of this contest are first Rahul Jaiswal, second Ananya Dhole and third Samruddhi Oswal.
On day three, painting contest on how to prevent air pollution had been announced. Total 81 entries were received for three categories – Preteens, Teens and adults were received. Judge for this contest was Mrs. Deepti Thosare, an artist. In Preteens category winners are first Pawani Dhagat, second Raunak Golchha, third Ayushi Ghagare. In teens category winners are first Dipali Sharrma, second Arya Karkhanis, third Bhumija Agrawal. Winners in adult category are first Ruella D’Souza, second Dr. Parul Saoji, third Sayali Kherde.
On day four, English and Hindi Slogan competition on space radiation hazard was announced. Total 14 entries were received. Judge for English Contest was Professor Vaijayanti Chandrayan and Judge for Hindi Slogan was Dr. Pankaj Machwe. Winners of English slogan contest are first Priyanshi Agrawal, second Arya Dongre and third Dr. Priti Jaiswal. Winners of Hindi slogan contest are first Dr. Pooja Chaudhary, second Dr. Manisha Rathi and third Dr. Prachi Sanjay Dongre.
On day 5, Face Painting competition on global Warming was announced. Total 23 entries were received. Judge for this competition was Rahul Phillips, a Concept Artist. Winners of below 12 years of age category for this competition are first Kimmaya Goswami, second Bhavik Darpan Chordiya and third Ansh Agrawal. Winners of more than 12 years of age category are first Palak Agrawal, second Yogesh Dhankasar and third Bhavika Darshan Chordiya.
