As the decision of conducting some major exams like NEET, JEE is pending parents are concern about the safety of their children. Where many are against the decision on conducting the exams as the pandemic is on a rise, they have written to the authorities seeking to postpone the national level exams until the situation is under control.
HRD minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank while interacting people through a video conference informed that acting on the request of people, he has asked National Test Agency to form a committee and to review the situation in their respective areas and to submit their recommendations to HRD by tomorrow.
“Looking at circumstances & requests received from students & parents appearing for JEE & NEET exams, a committee consisting of National Testing Agency & other experts advised to review situation & submit its recommendations to HRD Ministry latest by tomorrow†Union Minister tweeted.
JEE Mains is scheduled to be conducted from July 18 to July 23. Similarly, the NEET 2020 is scheduled to be held on July 26, this year.
