As we know the lockdown has made a huge impact in our lives and it wreaked havoc in every sphere of life including education sector.As per the circular dated June 15,student’s won’t be asked to attend the school. And  the government circular dated June 24,clear instructions have been given regarding the absence of teachers in the school.
However,the confusion over the issue still prevails among the teachers as the education officer has not given any instructions yet.The circular dated June 24 has given clear instructions on behalf of government regarding the attendance of teachers in schools.
As per the circular,the teachers above the age of 55,teachers with diabetes,high blood pressure and heart disease should not be forced to attend school also,it is not to be made compulsory for other teachers too to attend the schools.The circular gives clear instructions that the principal can call the teachers to the school once or twice a week only if necessary for urgent work.Due to the lack of clear instructions the confusion is prevailing.As per information,in some places,teachers have been instructed by the head of the centre or principal to attend the school.The secondary education department of ZP Nagpur has also directed to take action as per the circular dated on June 24.However,no instructions have been given by the education officer yet.In this regard,the teachers’ unions issued a statement and asked to clear the matter as soon as possible.
