Dept of Post to organise competition of postage stamps

Department of Post is organizing a Nationwide Competitions for inviting entries that can be used for designing commemorative postage stamps and other philatelic items . A National level Photography Competition is held every year and winning entries are used for designing stamps for issue on the Independence Day. 

Theme of the compaction is “UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India (Cultural)

Contestants of all age groups and from all parts of the country may participate  in the competition  by uploading the photograph clicked by him/her on the My Gov portal at https:mygov.in/task/design-stamp-themed-unesco-world-heritage-sites-india-cultural.             

The competition was launched on 07/07/2020 and the last date for submission  of entries  is 27/07/2020
