The son of late Dr Shrikant Jichkar, Advocate Yajnavalkya Jichkar has been appointed as Secretary Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress. He has also been given the responsibility as Chief Coordinator of Research Cell. Adv Yajnavalkya Jichkar is a law graduate, and is Co-Founder and Managing Trustee of Dr Shrikant Jichkar Foundation and social organisation Zero Gravity.
He is also Trustee of Sandipani Society. Adv Yajnavalkya Jichkar thanked Sonia Gandhi, Congress President; Rahul Gandhi, MP; Shrinivas BV, National President of Youth Congress; and Satyajit Tambe, President of Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress.
